Dad Literally Bores His Baby to Sleep By Talking About His Job

Kevin Payne has no need for balmy lullabies. The father from Cortlandt Manor, New York, simply bores his baby child to nap by describing what he does during work. Payne common a video of their bedtime slight to his Facebook page and it’s like examination a bad date, though even funnier.

In a clip, a record resiliency manager, 32, binds his 5-month-old son Carter. “Hey bud,” Payne begins. “So we wanted to take a few mins usually to explain to we what we do for a living. It’s unequivocally utterly exciting.”

But Carter doesn’t agree. Within seconds his eyes glitter over and he starts to nap off. “Hey, Hey,” Panye says, jiggling a baby awake. “It’s not that boring. It’s not that boring.”

Payne, who is also father of Addy, 3, has never been one for standard bedtime stories. He leaves that to his wife, Eryn. “I use my kids as a sounding house for some of a pointless thoughts that run by my conduct during several hours of a night,” he exclusively tells Us Weekly. “Eryn takes a some-more normal track as she was sanctified with a voice that doesn’t means others to recoil in pain.”

Addy was spared of a career talk. “With her we would sing a Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song,” he says. “I would also speak to her about several domestic topics as I’ve come to comprehend a baby is a usually one we can safely plead politics with.”

Adds Payne: “With dual kids who are not good sleepers we try anything that will work and repeat it until it loses effectiveness!”
