Victoria Beckham will maybe take authorised movement opposite a grill that defamed and body-shamed her for her weight, according to her rep. The 43-year-old conform designer’s snub came after finding an ad for a restaurant’s pizzas, that decorated her as intensely skinny and indicted her of carrying an eating disorder.

The ad, that came from a grill named Sidhu Golden Fish and Chips in Tyneside, England, facilities Beckham as a rail-thin caricature, whose skeleton and rib enclosure are poking out while wearing a black bikini and a cincture that reads, “Anorexic Fashion Icon.” The print appears to publicize a new thin-crust pizza named after a former Spice Girl. The ad also includes phrases like “This is not thin!” (referring to Beckham) and “This is thin!” (referencing a pizza) to advise that a new membrane is even thinner than a singer.

Shortly after a ad went viral, a deputy for a mom of 4 slammed a grill for shaming Beckham and creation light of a critical eating disorder.

“It is rarely inapt to trivialize such a disorder, and insulting to be so careless with a person’s repute in this way, therefore we are seeking authorised advice,” a deputy told Fox News.

The restaurant’s owner, Soni Sodi, defends that a print is simply a joke. In an talk with iTV, Sodi pronounced he was “genuinely frightened if anyone was honestly offended.” He argued that a ad was “offered as a fun approach to make people smile, and to shun from a daily dispatch and discord of life.”

While Sodi remarkable that earnest of eating disorders, he also has no skeleton to take down a ad. “If, in 2017 Britain, we are asked to take down this advert it will be a unhappy day for leisure of expression,” he said.

Sounds like a non-apology to us. Regardless of what a restaurant’s intentions were, eating disorders are critical illnesses and poking fun during them, even as a joke, can be intensely harmful. Good on Beckham for vocalization out.
