Jennifer Lawrence is Spooked in a First Trailer for mother!

Mother! starring Jennifer Lawrence and written/directed by Darren Aronofsky has expelled a initial trailer, and, well, we finally have some some-more answer to a doubt of what a film is indeed about.

Previously all we had to go one was an central record line that described, mother! (yes, with an intentionally lowercase m) as a film that “centers on a integrate whose attribute is tested when uninvited guest arrive during their home, disrupting their willing existence.” The film also stars Javier Bardem, Ed Harris, Michelle Pfeiffer, Domhnall and Brendan Gleeson, and Kristen Wiig.

In a 30-second spot, a barefoot Lawrence wanders an dull residence as we hear snippets of fearful dialogue, that goes as follows:

Jennifer Lawrence: What brings we to us?

Ed Harris (probably): Well, they told me we could find a room here.

Javier Bardem: He suspicion it was a bed and breakfast….

(*creepy jangling sounds*)

Jennifer Lawrence: He’s a stranger.

Female voice (Kristen Wiig?): Hello?

(*whooshing sound like we hear when you’re listening to an

Jennifer Lawrence: Did we know he had a wife?

(*chatter sounds*)

Jennifer Lawrence: Who are these people?

Javier Bardem: They’ve come here to see me.

(*knife sounds, panting*)

Jennifer Lawrence: You’re insane! Murderer!

Michelle Pfeiffer: God assistance you.

Ok, so maybe there isn’t that most construction as to a film’s plot, though we can see it all (confusingly) go down for yourself in a video below:

It does, however, have a creepy and pleasing poster:

Mother! kicks off a spate of sparkling projects for Lawrence after final year’s unsatisfactory Passengers. After mother!, Lawrence is slated to reunite with her Hunger Games executive Francis Lawrence in voluptuous view thriller Red Sparrow, reprise her purpose as Mystique in X-Men spin-off Dark Phoenix, and afterwards there’s a long-awaited, still-not-in-production story of Silicon Valley scammer Elizabeth Holmes, Bad Blood.

According to a trailer’s YouTube description, a full trailer for mother! will be accessible Aug 8. After opening during a Toronto Film Festival, mother! will strike theaters Sep 15.
