Amy Duggar on Marriage to Dillon King: ‘Our Love Isn’t Perfect, But It’s Real’

One year down and a lifetime to go! Amy Duggar and father Dillon King are giving fans a glance into their matrimony in their new TLC special Amy Dillon: Married One Year, which front on Monday, Jun 19.

Duggar, 30, exclusively tells Us Weekly that they don’t reason anything behind from a cameras. “Our adore isn’t perfect, though it’s real!” she says. “We don’t try to be anything we are not. We wish to make people giggle and get a clarity for who we are as a couple.”

The one-hour special will uncover “two best friends in adore doing life together” as they applaud Duggar’s 30th birthday, reconstruct their home and try Mexico to symbol their one-year milestone. “For a anniversary outing we wanted to be adventurous. We wanted to unequivocally live life to a fullest,” she tells Us. “So we went zip lining, explored a cenotes, baked for ourselves and rented a residence in Tulum.”

While they have a lot of fun together, the 19 Kids and Counting alum admits that they have to work on their marriage, too. “Our initial year had a ups and downs. There were a lot of changes that took place around us. My relatives divorced and that unequivocally has been a unequivocally tough adjustment,” she tells Us. “We also were friends for so prolonged we unequivocally had to learn how to honour any other as life partners.”
